WOW! 2011 already.. We have started the year with a bang and properties are being moved at an alarming rate.

Montague Gardens remains one of the most sought after light-industrial and mixed-use developments in the Western Cape with properties trading at a premimum as expansion limits are reached.

That being said, there are still some fantastic gems to be found. Just look at the amazing interest in Racing Park and the burgeoning Killarney Gardens area. We're seeing some BIG names moving their operations into the area with a lot of feeder small and medium sized businesses snapping up space right on their heels. The time for office revamps has definately set in and we've noticed a lot of businessses we've found space for revamping their offices to drum up some new vibrance in their offices. The office transformations we've seen are phenomenal, bright, cheerful, powerful, dynamic... the most plain spaces have been transformed into thriving workspaces and everyones' seeing the benefit in their staff attitudes.

As always, in the smaller complexes parking remains a contentious issue and we're reminding those looking at leasing property to negotiate wisely for staff and visitor parking. Some units come with additional parking as low as R500 a bay while others are set at a R1000 per bay premium so shopping around is definitely on the cards.

Let's see what the new year brings!
